Three sisters needed an original logo. Journey Elite Coaching brings together a health & life coach, personal trainer, and yoga instructor.
I had worked with Janet on branding for Path Less Traveled, LLC, so when she was in need of a logo she called. She put her deposit down for the Jump Start Package and we hit the group running.
Since all three ladies live in different cities we set up a Zoom call.
During their Initial Meeting, we completed a Creative Brief, facilitated a Logo Quiz, and Mood Board Homework was assigned.
The Mood Boards came with me on the road to Wisconsin for the holidays. Research transformed into the design, with coffee by my side.
“In looking through these and discussing,

we are not sold on any of them.”
The first presentation usually doesn’t hold the winner. Getting the logo art, color, and type to line up to communicate the desired message is the creative problem I attempt to solve most days. Even though I know this, it is hard to swallow during each project. It took us two revision rounds after the big Wisconsin work push to have a successful logo – and oh how I can see the fun ways this new visual brand can come to life!
The Visual Branding Jump Start Package includes business card artwork.
Creating the artwork is the first time elements have to come together in a utilitarian way. We went through a couple of revision rounds and then…
“We have decided to go with different business card versions for each of us. Funny thing is, you have them correct, we all love our own!”
– Janet B.
This is the best news a designer could receive! I’m so glad I was able to create designs for each woman connected with using their new visual brand. We made the back of all the business cards the same with unique fronts.
Journey Elite Coaching’s first workshop was held on Friday, February 8th. The best of luck to these three Kick Ass Professionals!
If you are in the Champaign-Urbana area please think of going. You can find more information & book your reservations to attend on Janet’s website.
